This ISO 22000 Lead Auditor Training Program is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to audit food safety management systems (FSMS) in accordance with the ISO 22000:2018 standard. The course will provide practical auditing techniques, insights into food safety hazards, and the competencies needed to assess an organization’s ability to maintain and improve a FSMS. The morning session will focus on understanding the auditing lifecycle, from planning to reporting, while the afternoon will involve practical examples of risk-based auditing.

 

Day 2: Conducting an ISO 22000 Audit

  • Audit Execution: Performing internal and external audits

  • Non-Conformity Reporting: Identifying, documenting, and reporting non-conformities.

  • Corrective Actions: Managing and following up on corrective actions

  • Audit Reporting and Conclusion: Preparing and presenting audit reports

  • Case Study: Conducting a simulated audit with a focus on ISO 22000 compliance

Participants will focus on the practical aspects of conducting audits. They will be guided on how to prepare an audit checklist, perform the audit, and identify non-conformities.
